This never gets old!
The male grackles in our yard follow the females around trying to impress them, whether it be with their fancy plumage display and strutting, or flipping leaves in the air with panache. (I think that's supposed to be attractive as well--to each their own ; ) Ours do a variation on this behaviour in the video. I think we have some boat tailed grackles as well.
But I suppose I shouldn't mock them in the slightest, since I married my very own bower bird ; )
