Shearing day, preamble
The shearer said he'd be here at noon. It's 1:15 now. This is typical for him, so I'm ok with it except that it's getting hotter out by the hour, and I don't want the sheep to have heat stress on top of the stress of the shearing itself.
Hoping everything goes smoothly.
Since I didn't put coats on the sheep this winter they are all very full of hay debris, so it's going to be an unpleasant and time consuming job to clean up the fleeces before I send them to the mill.
I guess I need to make mistakes a few times before I finally learn from them!
Updates later.
