Our beautiful little Tulip died this weekend, while under veterinary care. It's two days later and I think I'm still in shock. I even thought I heard her funny little call early this morning. More about it soon, but for now I need to get back outside and do some work, and try to take my mind off of it. It was minus 27C this morning so all beasts are a little extra needy today. The horses played and bucked and carried on for a bit at turnout, and I was so grateful for a heartfelt laugh...
Life is so fragile, so don't take your loved ones for granted, even for a second.
