The Dark Half of the Year --- A Hallowe'en event. As the barrier thins.

Last night we were lucky enough to have a friend available to lock up the birds so we could go on a very special date night!  A Prairie Home Companion is a radio show on NPR that's broadcast internationally.  For thirty years! Recently it's gotten even better as Chris Thile has taken over as host.  New music and talent every week.

We had nosebleed seats--literally at the very back row of the Fitzgerald Theater in St Paul.  It's a small theater with great sound.  I'm already planning to buy tickets for the February shows.

One of the fun moments of the night was as we walked up the tight staircases to our seats just minutes before start time. I involuntarily let out a giggle that G heard despite the din around us. "I heard that" he said.  How lucky am I that I married someone who is so in tune with my emotions.  He just knows how happy it makes me to get to see live music. Thank you my darling.
